When paired with our unique range of modular anti-slip profiles, it works to create an environment that is safe and suitable for everyone to move around freely. We manufacture this bespoke profile in-house at our Somerset warehouse. As well as giving us the freedom to alter and adjust measurements to fit your needs, this also ensures you have a team on-hand to help with any enquiries you may have.
Our heavy-duty stair tread profiles are manufactured from aluminium, making them light but strong enough to withstand repeated use. They have a highly defined surface which minimises the risk of falls. In addition, the choice of material is low maintenance and resistant to rust, giving it the chance to perform well over many years. The unique modular design is unlike other offerings on the market in that it can easily lock together with other profiles. During installation, this allows you to alter the design and fit according to your needs without pulling the entire set-up away. This specific profile is compatible for use with our QA1, QA2, QA3, QA4; and once paired with one of these profiles will give a smooth tapered back edge in order to reduce the risk of tripping. We will cut it to fit your measurements and finish with pre-drilled fixings should you require this.
Our in-house manufactured profiles can be affixed to any sound surface. If you have any questions about these or any of the other products available in our online store, get in touch with the team here today.

How to install the TREADDA range We recommend preparing the installation surface or substrate before installation. For best results, ensure it is sound and reasonably level. Any remedial work needed to create this environment must be done before the installation of your profile or profiles.
Our Carbigrip profiles have been manufactured from hard-wearing and heavy-duty materials. For this purpose, we advise that it should be both screw-fixed and bedded with a suitable adhesive. This reduces or removes the potential rattling sound and the chance of an unstable footing after installation.
We recommend using a wood screw size of No.8 (M5) with a countersunk head. This will suit the standard pre-drilled holes found in your profile. Remember to use stainless steel screws for installation or bolts/nuts when fixing to a steel plate. The adhesive used should be suitable for external use. It should always be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
For environments where fixing is to be done by adhesive only, we recommend using a product with high-strength mechanical properties that are designed specifically for structural bonding. In this instance, brands such as Gripfill or F32 are not recommended. If you require more information on suitable products to use, visit our 'related products' sections. Alternatively, the team here can help to advise on the right. choices for your environment.
